This therapy has a shorter treatment duration than with conventional psychotherapies. We will focus on addressing the causes of the client's symptom. Indeed, treating only the symptom only displaces it. The method used and defined by Integrative Hypnotherapy directs therapeutic treatment towards the causes of symptomatic manifestations, whether somatizations, repetitive behaviors or any other disorders mentioned during the consultation request.
Hypnosis in itself is not psychotherapy. Integrative Hypnotherapy is a form of treatment where the hypnotic state is used as part of short-term psychotherapy.
In some situations, it is quite possible to respond to a very specific objective or problem after about 2 or 3 sessions.
